Yeah definitely, this guide is kinda old and a lot has changed now, but I highly reccomend running CyanogenMod 7.1 on it, it makes it a much better device!

Nice guide, just roooted an old non-serviced phone to play with rooting, so not gonna get much use of these on it. but once the main phone is rooted, these look like some must have apps!

Instead of using (what I assume is my) BulkCNAM.com service on line 12 of your extensions.conf, why not use the following free and very nearly as good service:

exten => s,n,Set(CALLERID(name)=”${CURL(http://freecnam.org/dip?q=${CALLERID(num)})}”) ; Set Caller ID from freeCNAM project
